Korean Ground Beef With Rice.

When you just want an alternative to change up ground beef.

Not interested in boring ground beef? This is a simple recipe to make and the flavor is out of this world. The key is the sauce. If you want to flavor up the rice, double the sauce and reserve half for the rice. All ingredients are easily found and this recipe doesn’t take much time to make. Enjoy the journey and the meal!

Korean Ground Beef With Rice

Serves 4

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef
3 garlic cloves minced
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups cooked rice
Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Cook rice according to package directions.

In a large skillet cook the ground beef and garlic break it into crumbles over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain off oil.

In a small bowl whisk brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes and pepper. Pour over the ground beef mixture and let simmer a minute or two.

Serve over hot rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
