Spinach Feta Burgers.

When you just want an alternative to a traditional burger.
Not interested in firing up the grill? This is a simple recipe to make and is just as delicious as a grilled burger. The key is dry spinach, and yes that’s a paper plate. All ingredients are easily found and this recipe doesn’t take much time to make. Enjoy the journey and the meal!
Ingredients:
2 (10oz) packages frozen chopped spinach
2 (4 oz) packages crumbled feta cheese
1 cup Italian bread crumbs (divided 3/4 1/4)
4 garlic cloves minced
1 large egg slightly beaten (May take 2)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp ground red pepper
Olive Oil
4 Whole wheat or Brioche buns toasted
Tomato
Red Onion
Defrost and drain spinach well, pressing between layers of paper towels
Combine spinach, cheese, 3/4 cup bread crumbs, next 5 ingredients, shape into 4 patties and coat with remaining bread crumbs
Cook patties in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 5 minutes per side, drain on paper towels
Serve on buns with ranch style salad dressing, tomato and sliced purple onion
