They’re only kids, be safe!

It can be hard to adjust from the dog days of summer to the busy and fast pace of the school year but believe it or not, summer is almost over and the school year is about to begin. Students in Sarasota and Manatee Counties will be heading back TOMORROW, Monday, August 12th, 2019.

The start of school means a significant increase in kids on our roadways. Whether they are walking, riding bikes, driving or are passengers in cars or school buses there are kids on the roads. Monday through Friday in the morning and afternoon kids will be out there and on the move. Safety is often the last thing on their minds. They are kids after all.

Everyone please be safe and pay attention!
