December 2019 Real Estate Market Activity Recap.

Sarasota and Manatee single family home, condo and townhome sales.

December saw single-family home sales increase over 2018, pushing sales volume up almost 62% to $858 million in Sarasota, while Manatee County saw a 25% increase to $628 million. Single family inventory is continuing to trend down in both counties, -11.4% in Sarasota and -9.4% in Manatee. Year over year condo sales were up 29%, totaling $330 million in Sarasota, while Manatee was slightly up 5%, for total sales of $192 million. Condo inventory is down almost 32% in Sarasota while declining 17% in Manatee.
